What you will do

As a Cloud Migration and Remote DC LATAM leader, problem solver, and innovator in the Technology & Data space, reporting to the Cloud Migration Director, this role will be responsible for remote data center facilities and site migration operational support within LATAM region as well as facilitating application migrations (J&J to KENVUE cloud).

This role will be uniquely positioned to work collaboratively with strategic external partners, regional leaders, and executives across the business and global technology organization to passionately understand our needs and empower our business and technology partners through the delivery of products and platforms that create exceptional experiences.

This role will be key in maintaining and improving technology delivery of services within the region, working with 3rd party providers to ensure timely and consistent delivery and support.

This leader will have the unique opportunity to grow and scale a diverse, credible team of talented engineers who work in an agile fashion to evolve our portfolio of products and platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with regional business partners and IT leadership acting as the single point of contact for regional cloud service delivery

  • Single point of contact for all FinOPS strategy in LATAM by connecting with Global FinOps organization and supporting regional BTL/PLOs on cloud cost management & improvements.

  • Own the cloud migration strategy as well report any requirement identified within LATAM region to support regional business.

  • Drive regional strategy for IT infrastructure on mid-long-term facilities projects.

  • Own and support the data center installations on make plants (Cali, Pilar, SJC)

  • Own and support the servers & facilities installations on offices (MX, BR, CO)

  • Own and support all IT infrastructure asset management by supporting finance and facilities teams on internal/external auditees.

  • Own and support all NAS/Storage in the region, specially EUS data storage issues.

  • Be the SPOC for major incidents on datacenter & IT Facilities escalations.

  • Be the SPOC to support regional facilities on projects & maintenance that impacts IT infrastructure.

  • Support LATAM Make leaders on planning of manufacturing infrastructure projects & improvements.

  • Deploy Global Cloud & infrastructure strategy in the region ensuring full alignment with global policies & guidance.

  • Deploy FinOPS tool in the region and ensure high adoption rates.

  • Report regional cloud operations & financial KPIs to LATAM LT regularly.

  • Align global cloud computer strategies to regional technology ecosystems

  • Act as a regional point of escalation to manage response from suppliers and global Support teams during major incidents as needed to minimize service disruption

  • Understand the demand for cloud & hosting services within the region

  • Provide effective communication and change management to senior business stakeholders related to planned service changes and disruptions in this region

  • Build and maintain relationships with key cloud vendors and integrators to ensure the quality and timeliness of services provided

  • Identify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, or escalations related to technology service delivery within the region

  • Facilitate regional purchasing and follow up on regional budgets (maintenance, contractors, …)

  • Drive transparency into cost models with regional stakeholders

  • Review regional metrics with local teams as required

  • Look for regional improvement and/or savings opportunities

  • Identify and drive regional Technology Life-Cycle opportunities

  • Support Regional Datacenter & Facilities team goals

  • Deliver on KENVUE separation objectives to help ensure the success of the new company

  • Facilitate the receiving side of Application migrations from J&J to KENVUE

  • Interface with and support regional application owners throughout the migration journey

  • Partner with external service providers to provide talent and services to drive high standards

  • Drive innovation through automation of services and capabilities

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • BA/BS required, a degree in STEM field preferred

  • A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated technology experience with cloud technology services operations in a global organization

  • 2 years of organizational leadership/people management preferred

  • Demonstrated experience leading Application Migration (A&D) projects (server/storage/data)

  • Strong understanding of cloud service operations, provisioning, and hosting, database services, disaster recovery

  • Technical understanding of the requirements of managing a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, and GCP preferred)

  • Technology thought leadership in the latest advances in the market, trends, and modern technology frameworks (e.g., Agile, DevOps)

  • Ability to develop partnerships with and communicate effectively to executive leadership, regional business partners, global IT leadership, and external partners

  • Capable of managing vendor relationships including managing service performance, contract compliance, effectively engaging with service providers to course correct when necessary

  • Exceptional executive leadership skills, including the ability to lead, coach, motivate and work through others to achieve desired results and outcomes

  • Has an innovative, agile, and high-performing teaming mindset
