Amazon Senior Account Executive, Adapt, US LCS in Santa Monica, California

As a Senior Account Executive on the Adapt team, you will report to the Amazon Adapt Sales Manager and use your 10+ years’ experience to provide high-level service to Fortune 500 accounts. You will sell Amazon’s full suite of advertising solutions to C-Level clients and their teams to achieve revenue targets. You will partner with the permanent Sales Manager you are supporting and account team to structure coverage for success, and amplify learnings and best practices with each new account assignment. Your strong experience working with clients and/or agencies and broad knowledge of advertising solutions will help ensure that the business goals of the coverage are achieved.

A day in the life

Every day for an Amazon Account Executive is different. You will be expected to be familiar with Amazon Ads products and capabilities, present to clients, and execute complicated media plans. Your knowledge will range from managed service executions that are focused on branding and awareness to Self service executions that are focused on acquisition and sales. You will have a solution for any scenario, and will consistently partner with cross functional experts within measurement, creative, and technical solutions. An Amazon Account Executive is expected to capture key data points in our CRM systems and collaborate with the team to make sure deals are placed in the correct stage in a timely manner in order to ensure forecasting is accurate. The AE will also be responsible for data inputs based on meetings, entertainment, RFIs, RFPs, and closed business, and lost business. The AE will collaborate and scale information with their immediate team, the vertical they work within, and throughout Amazon Ads to make sure that everyone benefits from new findings and breakthroughs.

About the team

Amazon Adapt is a program designed to offer coverage solutions for business gaps which may occur due to extended leave (parental, medical) and unexpected account transitions. Amazon Adapt deploys highly skilled, hyper-agile talent that ensures customers can continue to invest in their partnerships with Amazon Advertising, uninterrupted. The program ensures that the high bar for customer service, strategic partnership, and revenue attainment is maintained during these coverage gaps. As a member of the Amazon Adapt team, you will have the opportunity to complete a series of rotations across a range of consumer industries. This enables Adapt team members to experience high-velocity exposure to teams across the organization and to clients across different verticals. Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree

· 10+ years digital ad sales experience as an individual contributor

· Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenues

· Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally very quickly

· Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management

· Strong analytical abilities

· Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and to present both over the phone and in person

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through.

This is a client facing role and requires up to 20% domestic travel as needed or 1x per month on average. Global travel may be required up to 2 times annually.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field

· Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management

· Previous experience working in e-commerce

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
