Job Title: Helper Ventilation (Entry-Level, Can Come from HVAC)

Job Description

Looking for a Ventilation Helper responsible for cleaning the ventilation units. The company is transitioning to eco-friendly filters. You will use hand tools, lift ventilation systems, and perform 'dirty' work related to the HVAC ventilation sector. This role does not involve refrigeration or cooling. You will also learn wiring and installation of units. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning air systems in manufacturing, hotels, and restaurants. Trade school is a plus but not required. Candidates must have a clean DMV record and be self-motivated, team players, presentable, and comfortable with getting dirty. Heavy travel is required; sites range from Santa Barbara to San Diego, including some locations in the Inland Empire. Company vehicles are provided, and candidates will not drive these vehicles while on contract. Overnight Helpers work a 4/10 schedule starting Sunday night, with work hours between 6 PM to 6 AM. Must be ok working with heights such as ceilings.

Work Environment

ACT installs and services air cleaning systems for industrial, commercial, restaurant, and casino buildings. The work includes changing filters, assisting with material handling, and learning electrical systems. This role focuses on the ventilation part of HVAC, without involving refrigeration or cooling.
