ICU Nurse Manager

CTTX Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated ICU Nurse Manager to join our team. As the ICU Nurse Manager (NM), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the ICU department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Lead and manage a team of ICU nurses, providing mentoring, coaching, and support.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize patient outcomes.

  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in critical care nursing and healthcare management.
