The Technical Analyst is responsible for all operational aspects of support functions. Effective interpersonal skills matched to strong technical skills are key to this position. This role serves as an on-site and remote technician, working closely with our Executive users, Business Apps, Network, Server, and Information Security and will require some after hours and on-call support rotations. This will include support to the employees working from the San Jose Molecular Devices, SCIEX Redwood Shores and Fremont offices, and remote associates.

This associate would need to be willing to commute to one of the locations listed above.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide Tier 2 desktop support using ServiceNow, facilitating onboarding and offboarding requests and triaging incidents following standard operating procedures.

• Configure and maintain laptop and desktop PCs imaged with Windows 10, 11, and Mac OS, including advanced hardware/software troubleshooting, including Microsoft Apps.

• Active Directory management.

  The essential requirements of the job include:

• Associate’s degree or higher with a focus in Computer Information Systems with a minimum two years supporting end-users in person, via phone, and in an enterprise-level corporate IT environment.

• Experience within Microsoft enterprise-level corporate environment a must: Active Directory, Win10, MS Apps, etc.

• Some lifting (greater than 25 pounds) may be necessary; Facilities, Materials, and IT employees occasionally must lift at least 50-75 pounds.

  It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Executive support and level 2 Desktop Support experience

• ITIL V4 Foundation

The hourly range for this role is $28.00-$36.00/hr. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
