Serve as a primary technical contact for Micron’s customers and various departments within Micron. Provide technical support to local customers (including Compute, Networking, and Storage customers) and the field sales force, includes applications advice, product recommendations, device testing/updating at customer site, technical problem resolution, training and quality issue resolution. Work with customers to determine the best memory footprint and best system configuration for the specific target application in the Networking space. Solve customers’ systems configuration and setup challenges and issues. Work with factory applications engineers to develop solutions which meet customer performance and power requirements. Work with and drive internal marketing and development teams to determine feasibility of specific new products, packaging or features and ensuring customer specifications are met. Identify and communicate the needed customer focused collateral (e.g., product guides, cross references, datasheets, system compatibility guides, etc.) Work with customers to handle quality issues in customer manufacturing and field applications. Provide internal strategic direction for customer systems applications and quality related objectives through collaboration with global field support teams.

Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in an Applications Engineer - related occupation.

The US base salary range that Micron Semiconductor Products, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $155,443.00 - $ 267,000 per year. For additional pay & benefits information, please refer to the requisition at Micron.com/careers.
