The Applied Signal Technology (AST) Digital Technology Program Engagement Department is looking for a Program Engagement Lead (PEL) to join our team of professionals. This role seeks to further enhance the overall strategic and operational impact of the AST DT department. As an AST DT PEL you will interface with engineering, program management, and mission area leadership to capture functional requirements, issues, and strategic objectives as needed.

This position is eligible for relocation assistance.

Job Responsibilities: • Works as a team member in a fast-paced environment or independently on assigned projects/activities • Applies critical thinking skills and abilities when faced with topics • Manages multiple mission area projects concurrently • Utilizes Project Management principals to formulate schedules, identify resources, track budgets, create/monitor risk registers, and both establish/monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) • Matriculates’ technical requirements into project plans • Facilitates discussion surrounding capital and/or expense procurements as needed for both the short and long term • Partners with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives • Participates in reviewing existing workflows and processes to streamline the time to resolution • Escalates and discuss topics with senior leaders across the portfolio • Advocates for mission support areas as needed to include participating in proposal writing • Participates in RTX AST Cybersecurity tasks and activities • Partners with AST DT PEL team members supporting other mission areas as needed

Qualifications/Experience Needed: • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience • Independent, self-motivated, and willing/able to learn through on-the-job training and documentation • Able to work within a team and foster teamwork and trust from both external and internal customers • Excellent written, verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills • Works to achieve day to day objectives with major impact on operational results within work area • May manage small projects or processes within work area of responsibility • Works autonomously with limited oversight • Responsible for making moderate improvements of processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of work area • Active TS/SCI with current Full Scope (FS) Poly Security Clearance

Security Clearance: • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working or interacting with large-scale programs • Experience with standard Microsoft Operating System and Office products • Experience with other program disciplines to include hardware, integration and test, configuration management, change management, and quality management

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
