Job Description

As a Director, Social Content & Engagement Strategy at Razorfish, you will be joining our 80+ person social discipline within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience practice.

We are social marketing strategists, content planners, creative strategists, social paid media specialists, content creators and platform experts.

We engage audiences around the world, for clients across all categories. Our discipline is built to help brands make a transformational shift in order to attract and engage people no matter where they are across digital channels, distributed commerce and content co-creation, the social platforms of today and innovative experiences of tomorrow.

We plan for, produce, and govern universes of content that are radically relevant, fit-for-platform, and that intercept and engage with culture.

The Director, Social Content & Engagement Strategy provides strategic thought leadership and account leadership as well as oversees a portfolio of client work and the teams across that work.

Note: targeting candidates with FinTech, Retail and/or B2B experience

Responsibilities :

  • Establish data-driven approach to inform and build overall social strategy to increase awareness and engagement for portfolio of clients

  • Build overarching plans and strategies to meet marketing objectives across acquisition, retention, and brand relevance

  • Develop KPIs and help create mechanisms to analyze the team's initiatives and their impact on business results.

  • Develop solutions and tools that integrate and improve the on-channel and off-channel experience as it relates to social.

  • Work closely with across disciplines to execute strategic, engaging, and award-winning social campaigns

  • Coordinate and develop social best practices, strategies and approach

  • Identify client growth opportunities and works to implement them.

  • Contribute to ongoing business development serving, as the lead practice representative

  • Assist in driving new business by participating in the answering of RFPs

  • Lead and encourage the social team to pursue and deliver excellence

Qualifications

  • 10-12+ years of social media and digital experience at a public relations/communications, interactive, advertising, or marketing agency.

  • Experience developing, pitching and executing social media campaigns or content series on behalf of a sizeable piece of business.

  • Strong knowledge of social media vendors ranging from listening and audience research tools to social media CRM platforms and promotional tools.

  • Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully, across multiple tasks, and effectively direct teams to deliver upon plans and client deliverables.

  • Strong expertise with social media measurement tools and platforms; timely knowledge of trends and hot topics.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and ability to counsel clients' on online marketing issues and content strategies.

  • Ability to manage budgets and calculate program ROI.

  • Previous experience developing, managing and implementing influencer programs; experience with promotions, sweepstakes/contests and partnerships a plus.

  • Serve as key day-to-day client counselor on social media strategy with the client and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Paid social media experience is key.

Compensation Range: $139,500 - $191,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
