Business Analyst, Business Consulting - Finance (Finance Transformation)(Manager)(Multiple Positions)(1494217), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Francisco, CA.

Provide finance business consulting services to help clients improve business performance and operate efficiently. Advise clients on improving and transforming the finance operating model though financial processes, enabling technologies, organizational roles and smarter reporting systems. Analyze data, document findings and prepare recommendations for the implementation of new financial systems, procedures, and organizational changes. Support the design of outsourcing, off-shoring, and global business service arrangements. Design and implement enabling financial systems to improve the process. Assist clients with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting services. Help clients reduce costs through consolidating finance functions across business units. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Manage a workstream or team of individuals in the delivery of client serving efforts. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in professional services/industry. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field and 4 years of work experience in professional services/industry. Experience may be gained as part of the Master's education, including co-op and/or internship experience.

Must have 4 years of experience in providing professional services related to finance function processes and other operational areas that impact the finance function, including a combination of at least five (5) of the following: finance operating model design, Finance Business Transformation, Global Business Services/Outsourcing, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and/or Digital Record to Report.

Must have 2 years of experience in three of the following enabling finance function tools: Maximo, PowerPlan, Automation Anywhere, SAP, Ariba, Alteryx, High Radius, Anaplan, Hyperion suite, BPC, Blackline, PowerBI, Tableau, Subscription billing (including SAP BRIM), Oracle, UIPATH, BluePrism, Microsoft PowerAutomate, Microsoft Dynamics, or Pega.

Must have 2 years of experience in two (2) of the following:

  • Leading finance workstreams for mid- to large-scale finance transformation projects and programs involving finance functions and shared services;

  • Developing new business with existing clients at the C' level of Fortune 500 companies;

  • Leading a team of consulting professionals on multiple projects.

Must have 2 years of experience in structuring and leading executive communications, building dynamic presentations for client executives, and leading workshops/sessions to derive business outcomes.

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international to serve client needs.
