Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller in overseeing daily accounting activities.

• Supervise the end-of-month closing process and generate accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports aligning with US GAAP standards.

• Offer direction and craft technical accounting memoranda regarding crucial matters.

• Uphold documentation pertaining to business procedures and accounting protocols to exhibit adherence to internal control standards.

• Compile and promptly disseminate quarterly reporting packages to the parent company.

• Liaise with external parties to furnish requisite data for tax preparations or annual audits, when needed.

• Act as a collaborative partner with various departments.

• Contribute to enhancing processes and spearheading efficiency drives.

• Fulfill Ad-Hoc Requests as deemed necessary.

  Requirements

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

• 4+ years of experience (or have done 4-5 busy seasons) with exposure to ASC 842.

• Possible profiles:

• Open to candidates coming out of audit (any clients is ok) with exposure to ASC 842 and exposure to technical accounting

• Candidates currently working in industry with exposure to ASC 842 and exposure to technical accounting

• Strong aptitude for data, accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational, administrative, analytical and research skills.

• Strong teamwork attributes and able to excel with minimal guidance.
