John Asdell with Robert Half is partnered with a leading publicly traded biotech company seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst. The Sr. FPA Analyst will be responsible for supporting multiple directors across a multi-billion dollar platform. This is a highly visible role within the organization that provides excellent promotion and growth opportunities across the company. This individual will contribute significantly to the company's growth by overseeing both divisional finance deliverables and ensuring accurate segment-level consolidation. The role comes with an above market cash compensation package as well has industry leading benefits. The Finance team works a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Unit Finance Oversight:

  • Lead and manage financial activities related to the business unit, including month-end close, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business performance, identify key drivers, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Segment-Level Consolidation:

  • Take ownership of segment-level consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

  • Work closely with regional and functional finance teams to consolidate financial data and produce comprehensive reports for senior leadership.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Support the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range strategic planning processes for the business unit, providing critical financial insights to guide decision-making.

  • Analyze and report on key financial metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with business unit leaders to understand their financial goals and provide financial support for key initiatives.

  • Collaborate with corporate finance teams to align business unit objectives with overall company financial strategies.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in the biotech or medical device industry.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business finance.

  • Experience with segment-level consolidation and reporting in a publicly traded company a plus.

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and other financial software.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
