Job Description:

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the swift and accurate processing of payroll, maintaining updated records of payroll data, and responding to employee inquiries about their pay. The ideal candidate will have significant payroll experience, a keen eye for detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and verify timesheets.

• Input working hours and data into payroll software.

• Process payrolls in a timely and accurate manner.

• Prepare and issue paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.

• Oversee and manage deductions and garnishments.

• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax laws.

• Respond to employee inquiries about their pay, deductions, or any payroll-related matters.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing is required.

• Knowledge of payroll systems and software like ADP or Paychex.

• Excellent numeracy and strong attention to detail.

• Up-to-date with labor and tax laws.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

This is a contract role for a period of (specify timeframe) with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent position based on performance and company needs.
