Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Manager, Child & Adolescent Psych Services in San Diego, California

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Unit/Department Director, this position is assigned managerial &clinical responsibilities of the nursing unit/department & staff related to the coordination & operationof the department/unit. Team member whose responsibilities include leading, managing, &influencing the daily operational activities associated with the assigned team. Supports the overallbusiness plan by monitoring team performance & outcomes relative to establishedgoals/measurements. Participates in rotational on-call duties including, but not limited to, responding to emergency situations, maintenance malfunctions, or staffing situations that require coverage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree (Minimum)

· Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position

· 4 Years of Experience (Minimum)

·· BLS for Health Providers (AHA) (Minimum)

· California RN License (Minimum)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

Prior experience as team member on the department/unit for which candidate is applying or have previous leadership experience

Certified De-Escalation Training

Current PALS certification (for pediatric areas)

The expected hiring range for this position is $81.96 to $112.70
