Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Business Unit Coordinator - Developmental Services Admin in San Diego, California

The Business Unit Coordinator has the responsibility of supporting a large division. The BUC works with the senior leadership of the division to ensure that all units within the division are supported and communicating effectively. This position is on-site 5 days per week. The BUC must be skilled at working with various applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Canva. Strong interpersonal skills are a must for the candidate to be successful in this role.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Unit Coordinator (BUC) collects and assimilates data and information for clinical/operational/financial decision making. The BUC will assist the Unit Director to develop, maintain, and analyze budget, business trends, budget reports, and variances on an on-going basis. The BUC will organize work, set priorities, schedule staff, verify timecards, and effectively accomplish required duties with minimal supervision. This position works collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers (i.e., staff, peers, managers, medical staff, community groups, and regulatory agencies) regarding internal and external operational issues.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree or commensurate experience

Minimum of three years' experience with emphasis in Hospital Unit Clerk, Unit Secretary, human resources, payroll, administrative, or related office experience

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Valid CA Driver License (if applicable)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

The expected hiring range for this position is $24.26 to $33.36
