Responsibilities
The NICU-Clinical Nurse Specialist, through advanced education and clinical practice, is an agent of change and professional growth in a specialized clinical area. This position is directed toward enhancing the quality of patient/family health care via the multiple roles of expert clinician, consultant, educator, researcher, and leader. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement, process, and activities.
Qualifications
Experience requirements: Minimum two (2) years in advanced nursing practice in care of acutely ill patients is required.
Education requirements: Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
Certifications required: BLS; NRP; RN; MSN. NRP Instructor preferred.
Pay Range
$48.96 - $74.06 /hour
