As an Associate, you’ll be based at our newly opened Service Delivery Center in San Antonio, TX. This position is responsible for supporting our Assurance engagements in our Service Delivery Center. The Service Delivery Centeris made up of high-performing, US-based resources who work closely with our experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to our clients.

Due to this level of work, you’ll need to be detail-oriented, analytical, and follow written procedures closely.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assists with execution and documentation of standardized procedures under direction of the Assurance

Advanced Associate

  • Documents clearly and accurately the execution of procedures as defined

  • Executes standardized procedures in a timely fashion to meet client service team deadlines, and manages

expectations regarding the timing of related deliverables

  • Timely communicates identified exceptions or non-reoccurring situations to the Assurance Advanced

Associate for review

  • Ensures quality in delivering client service by executing procedures as prescribed and informing the

Assurance Advanced Associate of the status of procedures

  • Follows well-defined processes, procedures and protocols. Unusual non-reoccurring situations are shared

with the Assurance Advanced Associate for further review.

  • Analyzes evidence, reaches conclusions, and identifies non-compliance while applying a balanced view.

  • Qualifications

  • Associates degree in any business-related major or any degree with business experience

  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc

  • Ability to consistently follow standardized procedures

  • Attention to detail and diligence in resolution of issues

  • Ability to prioritize to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task on projects and assignments

  • Ability to learn new software tools

A competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The salary range for this job, in the US, is $40,000. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid-time-off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial and emotional well-being.
