job summary:

We are looking for a Sr. Windows System Enigeer who is an expert with Active Directory/ Azure AD and strong AD Authentication experience. This is a contract role for a client of ours located in San Antonio, TX.

Below are the qualifications/ background we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, in a related field, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in active directory administration and/or engineering

• Expertise and experience in at least two of the following: Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, Azure AD, PKI, Privileged Access Management

• Demonstrated experience in authentication engineering at a high level across related platforms

• Demonstrated ability to accurately depict technical environments

• Demonstrated experience working in a virtualized environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

• Expertise and experience in advanced scripting with PowerShell, Ansible, and/or Chef

responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, designing, provisioning, maintaining, and upgrading Authentication platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD and PAM and PIM related platforms across the enterprise

• Responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of Authentication platforms including design, implementation, installation, update, and configuration

• You'll have the opportunity to mentor other members of the Windows Server team.

• Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for Windows Server engineering and administration.

• Design and evaluate Authentication solutions to enhance the most complex systems and related infrastructure across the organization. Make recommendations to management and implement enhancement solutions

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and management to design and implement the most complex Authentication projects that fulfill line of business needs across the organization.

• Perform baselines of systems conformance and load to understand normal authentication workloads across systems to allow us to self-identify issues or anomalous.

• Experience level: Experienced

• Minimum 8 years of experience

• Education: Bachelors

skills:

• Powershell (1 year of experience is required)

• SCCM (3 years of experience is preferred)

• PKI (1 year of experience is required)

• Priveleged Access Management

• Active Directory (5 years of experience is required)

• Windows (5 years of experience is required)
