Job Title: Patient Access Coordinator

Job Description

As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will work with 2-3 different EMR systems to check in and check out patients, verify date of birth and insurance, collect payments (credit card/check), and create appointments for patients checking out. You will also contact patients for no-shows or rescheduling appointments and send out dictated letters from doctors via email to patients. This role is highly collaborative, working alongside other patient access coordinators and directly with the physicians.

Hard Skills

• 1 year medical experience (preferably ophthalmology experience, but open to front office medical experience)

• Experience working in an environment with 60+ patients per day

Soft Skills

• High level of customer service skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.

Work Environment

M-F, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Must be available to work between those hours. .
