ManTech Logistics Analyst III in San Antonio, Texas

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst III to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Implements and sustains IT and autonomous inventory management systems, analyzes data to identify and reduce excess inventory, increase allowances, and spare quantities for all assets.

  • Create standard and ad hoc reports for management from logistics-related systems as required and perform supply activities for the requisition, receipt, storage, shipment, and issue of parts, materials, and equipment required for the development, deployment, installation, and operation of IT systems that are within scope of the Maverick Tasks.

  • Map data into specific organization systems and conduct site assessments to identify problems and assist the NSIN and its mission partners with determining what IT elements are needed for system implementation.

  • Participate or lead projects that enable full system development support for machinery and installation of logistics software to modernize DoD efforts to improve supply chain management processes for procurement, inventory, and distribution management to achieve globally responsive, sustainable, and cost-effective logistics and material readiness.

  • Use of automatic guided vehicles, robotic arms, and installation and maintenance of Automated Storage (AS) and Retrieval Systems (RS) to increase inefficiency and accuracy of logistics operations.

  • Support adopting IT systems to business warehousing processes to achieve focused logistics, total asset visibility, and the integration of global supply chains in anticipated diverse environments that may be under a full spectrum of climatic conditions, such as entry and exit points of military facilities and roadside installations, transactions at custody exchange points, and handling of hazardous, explosive, or other regulated materials.

  • Povide point-to-point coordination of IT delivery between departure and arrival destinations for Foreign Military Sales (FMS). This position may require 20% to 30% domestic and international travel.

The Logistics Analyst III is a senior role with advanced experience in all aspects of procurement, inventory management, and distribution, including modernization initiatives, such as the use of robotics. The Logistics Analyst III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree AND 2-4 years of experience in position-relevant tasks.

Security Clearance

  • TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, IT Logistics and/or DoD Architecture and Construction Logistics. Master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or related discipline.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
