Instrumentation Technician

San Antonio, TX

Job Description

Perform a variety of instrumentation and automation services, including troubleshooting, calibration, installation, testing, and commissioning. Troubleshoot instrumentation functionality and I/O operation. Repair instrumentation, typically involving calibration using a variety of meters and tools. Set up new instrumentation and calibrate specifications using schematics and drawings. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment. Assist with a variety of related installation and maintenance projects for automating large industrial processes. Use computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce reports. Work with engineers testing and commissioning PLC systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas. This position will be based 70% in San Antonio and 30% travelling. when travelling per diem will be paid.
