Position

SAS has an opening for a Customer Service Account Representative I

Job Responsibilities:

  • Keep a positive and upbeat attitude while communicating with customer through various channels.

  • Create a personal connection with each caller while maintaining professionalism.

  • Delivers WOW factor with every interaction.

  • Acknowledge and resolve the customer's needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Gain product knowledge on all SAS items, believe that SAS is the best American-made quality comfort footwear and demonstrate that enthusiasm and belief for the product and the company's philosophy through your daily interactions with customers.

  • Get comfortable with operating our point of sale (POS) computer systems for sales returns, charges, checks, and special orders.

  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests promptly.

  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using Service Cloud customer relationship tools.

Job Qualifications:

  • Possess strong customer service skills with constant customer focus in phone conversations, e-mail communications and other customer interactions

  • Ability to stay calm when the customer is stressed or upset.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

  • Mature, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

  • Demonstrate respect and empathy for co-workers, the team and the customer.

  • Able to work independently and with a team.

  • Able to learn new technology trends quickly

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

  • Must be able to sit or stand for 8 – 10 hours.

  • Manual dexterity and coordination

  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer, visual inspection, and prepare and analyze projects.

  • Comfortable using a computer.

Education & Experience Requirement:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Internet navigation tools required.

  • Call center experience in the retail/wholesale industry or with consumer product goods is a plus.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus but not required.
