Description We are seeking a Document Controller based in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves maintaining and managing electronic health records (EHR) and providing support to staff and patients regarding these records. This position is a short-term contract opportunity within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up new patient files in EHR software and associated applications

• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations when releasing protected health information

• Keeping patient information confidential to maintain trust and protect operations

• Proactively monitoring EHR charts, applications, and services using various tools to ensure high data integrity and availability

• Resolving EHR chart maintenance issues and providing support to staff

• Guiding staff and patients regarding questions on patients' medical records

• Demonstrating a service-oriented mindset and maintaining good interdepartmental relationships and partnerships

• Participating in periodic medical chart audits and reviews

• Performing other related duties as assigned

• Using accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, About Time, and Bluebeam Revu for administrative tasks. Requirements

• Understanding of health and safety regulations in an office environment is required.

• Administrative Office skills are essential
