University of Utah Research Scientist in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The Hong Laboratory is located within the Nora Eccles Harrison Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute at the University of Utah (CVRTI). The Hong Lab is focused on translational research and therapeutics for heart failure. We are looking for an exceptional individual who wants to work in a highly supportive research environment and be involved in high impact research projects. The research will conform to guidelines of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) within the CVRTI for IND-enabling studies exploring a new therapy for heart failure in preclinical models. The Research Scientist will perform advanced research laboratory techniques and procedures by applying standard scientific techniques and analytical principles. The Scientist will also help with supervision of lab technicians and lab specialists and be responsible for keeping detailed GLP documentation for the project.
