ARUP LABORATORIES Medical Laboratory Scientist III (PERM) in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah is hiring for full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist III (NYQ), 3 openings. In the Autoimmune Immunology I laboratory, the Medical Laboratory Scientist III (NYQ) will perform testing methods for multi-analyte fluorescence detection, immunoblot, Immunoprecipitation and indirect fluorescent antibody testing platforms. Will operate and maintain instrument platforms such as Luminex 200, Quantalyzer 3000, NovaView Camera, Quantalink, centrifuge, Geiger meter and microscopes. Will participate in preparing specimens for processing; establish, perform, and document quality assurance, quality control, confirm and verify results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Correlates, interprets and enters data based on knowledge of factors affecting test results. Requires Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or in the chemical or biological sciences; and ASCP or AAB certification as MLS or MT.
