The Volunteer Program Coordinator oversees the day-to-day activities of the NHMU Volunteer Program by: coordinating volunteer recruitment and the onboarding process; providing orientation and training for volunteers and volunteer supervisors; implementing a robust volunteer recognition and retention plan; collaborating with and supporting Museum staff in identifying volunteer needs and developing volunteer position descriptions and training; maintaining the volunteer database and producing reports as needed; and developing and implementing tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the Volunteer Program.
