Business Intelligence and Data Analyst

We are looking for an experienced BI and Data Analyst for our Salt Lake City office. This person will join us in the insurance industry to uncover and optimize data-driven insights, analyze information against key performance indicators, and develop reporting tools and dashboards.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with management and other departments to grasp all aspects of critical data.
Analyze and interpret complex data to help management evaluate business performance and set priorities.
Scrutinize past, current, and potential strategies.
Develop models to identify business issues and opportunities.
Work with data warehousing and reporting.
Create and maintain reporting methods and best practices.
Formulate previously unrecognized insights into valuable and tangible reports for decision-making purposes.
Develop reporting dashboards for use by management and other departments.
Ensure all data and reports are stored, developed, and presented in an easy-to-understand and accurate manner that promotes efficient decision making.
Facilitate communication and understanding among various team members regarding business intelligence.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, business analytics, or related field.
Three or more years of professional analysis experience.
Advance skills in Excel and Power BI.
Experience with SQL Server and Python is also preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify priorities and manage time.
Insurance industry experience is a plus.
