Job Duties: Associate, Project Management with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Combine technical skills, business knowledge and creativity in the development of software solutions in support of the Firm's business units. Participate in the development, testing and support of both client and server-side applications and systems. Utilize one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#/.NET to support the full project life cycle, from requirements gathering to design, testing, implementation, roll-out, and monitoring and visualizing (building integrations with BI tools). Participate in relevant application upgrades and report them accordingly via internal documentation. Monitor the health and effectiveness of existing applications by overseeing usage, assets, and other key performance indices (KPIs) and reporting them via operational dashboards and other methods. Use one or more Relational Databases Management Systems (RDBMS) and/ or no-SQL databases, such as Microsoft SQL-Server, Oracle, Sybase, Hive, or Spark.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cognitive Science, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related role. Prior work experience must include two (2) years with: working with project management tools including JIRA; working with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering to design, testing, implementation, roll-out, and monitoring and visualizing; working with business intelligence tools; working with programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, C++, or C#/.NET; and working with Relational Databases Management Systems (RDBMS) or No-SQL databases including Microsoft SQL-Server, Oracle, Sybase, Hive, or Spark.
