Job Summary:

International Logistics Coordinator (ILC1) provide specific order management & logistic support for international orders and shipments on specific, product-focused teams. This position reports to a team leader. Training will be provided on company policies, software applications, general business process steps, and department guidelines.

ILCs receive orders from International Sales Offices and release to the appropriate factory and coordinate shipments with the factory, freight forwarder and customer, including invoicing daily/weekly. Continually communicate order status either directly or through order status report information.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer orders for completeness and credit acceptability.

  • Review order for pricing accuracy, using different country and product pricing policies.

  • Schedule and coordinate "special order" material requirements from vendors to meet customer requested ship dates.

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders (one of Trane’s main forwarders is Expeditors International) to arrange ocean and air shipping

  • Enter orders on various Trane manufacturing facilities in Oracle R12

  • Review changes to promised customer delivery dates, using Trane plant order systems to track manufacturing schedules, call vendors to track special material delivery dates.

  • Review letters of credit for shipping document and collection compliance.

  • Perform other general logistic support functions as required.

  • Consistently and timely communicate order status either directly or through order status reports

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year associate degree (4 year preferred) in business field preferred.

  • Must be customer focused and detail oriented

  • Good verbal and written communication skills required

  • Team working experience and skills required

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications helpful (Windows, Word, Excel, E-mail, etc.)

  • Oracle R12 experience

Salary: $53,000- $71,000 base salary.
