Efficiently schedule and direct warehouse associates to optimize productivity and minimize costs. Organize warehouse storage locations based on product volumes to ensure smooth inbound and outbound material flows. Set performance goals and metrics for warehouse associates. Ensure compliance with HAZMAT regulations, including proper labeling and documentation. Obtain necessary licenses and permits within specified timeframes. Lead Safety Committee activities and conduct safety equipment inspections. Resolve billing issues and develop reports to prevent future errors. Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching for improvement, and identify future leaders. Communicate facility repair and maintenance needs, approve expenses, and report to the operations manager. Manage warehouse staff overtime based on performance measurements and metrics. Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain documentation. Conduct monthly departmental meetings for communication, training, and motivation. Attend operational meetings as required. Provide coverage for warehouse associates during their absences. Perform other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Experience and/or Training: 4-5 years' warehouse or shipping/receiving experience 2-3 years' warehouse management experience Knowledge of quality, 5-S, six sigma, and/or lean systems WHAT SETS YOU APART (Preferred Qualifications): Education: BA in business or related field is preferred Licenses/Certificates: Forklift certification recommended not required - will certify within the Lube Tech safety guidelines Technology/Equipment: Knowledge of WMS or ERP system preferred Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
