Responsibilities The Corporate Senior Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the Corporate Accounting function including general ledger accounting, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other compliance efforts. Additional duties include managing lease accounting schedules, calculating monthly benefits and insurance allocations across the company, and maintaining M&A project tracking schedules. This individual will work closely with all member of the Post Accounting, Tax, and Treasury teams, as well as department heads in Corporate and various subsidiary companies. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES Responsible for preparing and managing general corporate accounting matters, including payroll, prepaids, accrued liabilities and debt. Includes preparing various calculations/analyses and corresponding journal entries. Manage timely and accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts through development and maintenance of detailed general ledger subsidiary schedules. Prepare monthly entries and reconciliations for significant account balances, including insurance, benefits, SaaS projects, M&A cost tracking, and hedging. Manage monthly intercompany transactions, including managing master services agreement transactions and reconciliations with subsidiary companies. Responsible for monthly correspondence with subsidiary companies. Manage company investment transactions and related accounts. Collaborate with corporate departments to maintain and manage capital project tracking. Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis procedures. Perform monthly roll-forwards of debt, leases and fixed assets within the consolidation system. Responsible for system-wide daily/weekly accounting system procedures. Assist with system data conversion/migration on an ad hoc basis. Assist with budgeting of centralized corporate expenses. Lead department’s compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, including maintaining adequate control documentation. Assist in supporting operating company accounting teams. Collaborate with external reporting to provide supporting schedules and documentation on a quarterly basis. Interface with internal and external auditors including preparing schedules, providing explanations, and preparing any other data as required. Field and resolve inquiries from management on an ad hoc basis. Lead the optimization of various accounting procedures, including certain special projects. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred. 3 to 4 years relevant experience gained through public accounting or related industry experience. General ledger accounting background with a broad knowledge of consolidations and monthly closings. High-energy self-starter, strong work ethic, comfortable in a fast-paced environment with alternating priorities. Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful, mature, flexible and positive. Good problem solving and decision-making skills. Experience with J.D. Edwards, Oracle and a consolidation software helpful. This position is hybrid. Mondays and Fridays are work from home; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are in office.
