Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic Motion and Drives team as a Motor Power Electronics Hardware Engineer, where you will have the opportunity to design state-of-the-art electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircrafts. This role not only allows you to apply and further develop your expertise but also to make a significant contribution to sustainable and efficient transportation. Your responsibilities will include the design and development of power electronic circuits for motor control power electronics, collaborating with cross-functional teams and conducting comprehensive analysis, testing, and documentation to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field

  • 7+ years of experience in power electronics design and development (including circuit simulation)

  • Experience with Silicon Carbide (SiC)

  • Fluency in Altium Designer software

  • High Voltage experience (650+ volts)

Soft Skills

  • Collaborative team player

  • Proactive communication

  • Ability to lead technical design reviews

  • Expertise in stakeholder collaboration

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Saint Louis, Missouri and some days remote.
