Aps Employment Services, Inc Maintenance Mechanic in SAGINAW, Michigan
We have an immediate opening for a Machine Maintenance Technician at a local heat treating facility.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Assisting in both repairs and ongoing maintenance of a heat-treating plant, learning and performing repairs including, but not limited to; mechanical, welding/fabricating, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and electrical functions of equipment,conduct routine inspections of machines
Required/Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Welding & Electrical
- Mechanically inclined
- Heat Treat, automotive, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
- Eager to learn
- Dependable
- Organized
- Work at a fast pace in an ever-changing environment
- Problem solve issues
- Manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Attention to detail.
- Perform and thoroughly understand safety procedures
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years minimum of relevant manufacturing experience is a PLUS
Shift:
- Monday-Friday, 5:00am to 3:30pm
- Sunday-8 hours
- Saturdays off
