Robert Half Events/Promotions Director in Saddle Brook, New Jersey

Description

We are offering a position for an Events/Promotions Director in the manufacturing industry, located in New Jersey. The role involves managing our partner program and leading the organization of internal and external events throughout the year. The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders including senior leadership and the Channel Sales Team in the development of the overall partner marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop enhancements, optimizations, and annual updates to existing partner program and components for the channel to help partners grow within the existing program.

• Manage a master list of all partners, and partner program components such as sales incentives, marketing funds, and service recognition.

• Lead the dealer onboarding experience, including level assignment, funds allocation, and overall program coordination.

• Communicate with partners through regular and ongoing communication to provide them with necessary information and tools to thrive.

• Design and organize events, trade shows, and other promotional events to promote the company’s products and services.

• Collect feedback from the field through surveys and focus groups on a regular basis with regular councils and roundtables as part of partner engagement programs.

• Manage and maintain the company's Brand Store for Partners, including annual budget and regular updates.

• Supervise assigned employee(s) within the Partner & Field Marketing team in accordance with company policies.

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities which may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting performance and salary reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to further their skills and knowledge; creating and monitoring development plans; setting performance expectations/goals; forecasting staffing needs and planning for peak times and absences; enforcing department policies and procedures.

Requirements • Minimum of five years of experience in a relevant role within the manufacturing industry

• Proven skills in Event Management, Event Planning, Event Production, and Event Promotion

• Extensive knowledge and experience in managing Large Scale Events, Live Events, and Marketing Events

• Proficiency in using Database systems to manage events data

• Experience in planning and executing Promotional Events and Off-Site Events

• Ability to manage Corporate Events, including logistics, materials, and post-event surveys

• Experience in developing and implementing Campaign Planning strategies to increase Brand Awareness

• Knowledge of digital marketing and multi-channel marketing strategies

• Proven track record in establishing and managing Business Partnerships, including partnership agreements and strategic partners

• Experience in engaging with Channel Partners and Vendor Partners for event promotion

• Familiarity with B2B Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Engagement Marketing strategies

• Proven ability to plan and execute Trade Shows, including Trade Show Signage and Graphics

• Experience in managing Promotional Advertising, Promotional Campaigns, Promotional Items, and Promotional Materials

• Knowledge in conducting Exit Surveys, Satisfaction Surveys, Employee Opinion Surveys, and Customer Surveys

• Proven ability to manage Sales Incentives and Performance Incentives
