Cisco Senior Finance Analyst - FP&A in RTP, North Carolina

What you'll do

  • Support the Supply Chain Finance FP&A team and lead monthly General Ledger reconciliation, variance analysis and tieout for Product COGS.

  • Act as our strategic finance partner to various business functions such as Supply Chain, Legal, BE Finance, BUs and consolidate Product COGS forecast during Quarterly forecast cycles and Fiscal year planning.

  • Build insightful presentations to summarize our QoQ, YoY and Forecast changes to help facilitate decision-making for leadership.

  • Drive Regional Gross Margin walks with Region leadership team and Interlock meetings with cross functional teams to get alignment on Revenue, ASP, Cost Savings, Warranty and Royalty.

  • Design, Build and maintain reporting dashboards that provide key insights into our backlog, shipments, revenue, product COGS, ASP (Average selling price).

  • Define, update, and maintain the P&L hierarchy. Represent finance in related meetings and advise management on proposed changes to non-cost related sub-measures (revenue, OPEX, etc.).

  • Collaborate and assist in the documentation of internal controls and ensure SOX compliance in areas of responsibility.

Who You'll Work With

You will be working with Business Entity Finance on Software COGS, Royalty and various other Finance teams such as Product Ops, GSM (Global Supplier Management), Logistics, Inventory and Manufacturing on Non-Material spend and cost drivers including Headcount, Legal, Royalty, Tariff and Warranty.

You bring strong and effective communications across multiple levels of the Company and across multiple functional organizations. You have excellent partnering and influencing skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams. Successful candidate will need to be a self-starter with strong analytical and strategic financial modeling skills.

Minimum Requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of proven experience, a BA/MBA, preferred.

  • You have high degree of business partnering skills: Personal integrity; strive for results; forward thinker; proactive and cross functional problem solver.

  • You have a general financial understanding a plus (planning, and month-end activities) and excellent analytical and systems skills including sound finance and accounting knowledge.

  • You have advanced excel skills and experience in using systems and tools such as Business Objects, Oracle SmartView/Essbase, MS Power Point etc.

Preferred Requirements

  • Prior experience in large multi-national company preferred.

  • Ability to work with Oracle ERP and MicroStrategy (CFA/GM Walk).

  • Ability to automate time consuming tasks and build streamlined data models.

  • High-end data analytical skills that can be applied for FP&A analytical models
