Minimum Education: Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program of Study for an Advanced Practice Level Respiratory Therapist with an A.A.S. degree or Certification of Graduation. Required Skills: * Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). * Certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support and ACLS at the time of hire. * Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT) is preferred. * Certification in PALS within 90 days of hire. Minimum Work Experience: Preference is given to 1 year of respiratory care experience. An Associate Degree can substitute for 1 year of experience.
