ABOUT THE JOB Responsibilities: Network Design & Implementation Plans and supports the network and computing infrastructure for growth and future enhancement. Ensures that network security and performance are fully considered in all designs. Network Troubleshooting & Support Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations, and associated systems. Documents network problems and resolution for future reference Systems Management Monitors system and infrastructure performance and implements performance tuning options Manage user accounts, global policies, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam Install, Maintain, Administer, Troubleshoot Cisco switches and routers Windows based servers and PCs * Azure Cloud infrastructure * LAN/WAN: Racks, switches, routers, firewalls, network services, etc... Exchange/AD/SQL Servers Wide variety of Microsoft, industry specific and other software platforms Smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices * Virtualized server, data center, and disaster recovery environments 1 Sr. Infrastructure and Security Manager2 VoIP phone system IPSec/SSL VPN configuration Voice and data cable troubleshooting Phone and internet services System back-up and restore software ABOUT YOU College degree in the field of computer science or software engineering 8-10years'work experience Certifications: MCSE/MCITP, CCNP,VMware, etc. Requires a thorough knowledge of networking protocols/concepts such as OSPF, BGP, STP, 802.1p/DSCP, VLAN's, etc. Experience with Palo Alto Firewall devices Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls Experience with VMwarevSphere, NSX, NSX ALB (Avi Networks) Horizon, etc. Experience with advanced storage systems like PURE storage, or similar systems from EMC, IBM, HP,and NetApp. Preferred Experience: Experience with Extreme Networks,Veeam, is a plus, but not required. Personal Attributes: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
