About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Manager to join Capri Palace Jumeirah, with the purpose of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall company policies.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Implementing and managing our policies, processes and procedures, ensuring the hotel is compliant with local employment law in all areas.

  • Positioning our brand as an employer of choice through effective recruitment strategies that attract talent and build a talent pool for effective succession planning within the business.

  • Cooperating with heads of department on putting in place development opportunities and career paths for the team.

  • Supporting business needs through development, engagement and motivation.

  • Nurturing a positive and inclusive work environment, keeping the culture of the hotel alive and embedding Jumeirah values.

  • Driving talent review processes from coffee chats, annual reviews through to talent and career management.

  • Reporting to upper management and corporate offices through HR metrics.

  • Supporting managers on employee relations and performance management cases.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in a similar role

  • In-depth knowledge of HR systems and databases and Italian labour law

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships at all levels of company hierarchy
