ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be able to read and comprehend technical direction and documentation

  • Reads, understands, and implements direction of appropriate maintenance manuals to identify and locative associated components on the aircraft

  • Accomplishes aircraft lubrications

  • Applying corrosion preventative compound to aircraft structures

  • Opening aircraft access panels for inspection and/or maintenance

  • Closing aircraft access panels following maintenance inspections after receiving the appropriate clearance to close per AAR and customer procedures.

  • Comply with all applicable AAR policies and procedures.

  • Ask questions as necessary to increase knowledge and skills and attend all work-related training.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATION

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. Must possess and be able to use minimum tools, i.e., basic hands tools.

EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

  • Aviation or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
