Job Description

An employer is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to sit in the South Charlotte area. This person will be responsible for logistical alignment, reporting and analysis of one of our large manufacturing clients' processes and systems. The coordinator will serve as a business unit subject matter expert for the implementation of the client's Logistics strategy while providing full support to the daily transportation site teams. Must possess the ability to take on ad-hoc reporting projects and serve as the Logistics & Transportation support lead for the business. This will require travel to production facilities on an as-needed basis.

Skills and Requirements

-At least a 2-year associate degree

-2 years progressive experience in a transportation or logistics role

-Experience with carrier management

-Experience with utilizing ERP systems for reporting and data analysis

-Experience using dashboard management tools Experience with detailed load planning and execution

-Experience leading teams or projects

-Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills -Bachelor's degree

-Experience working with D365 & Carrierpoint TMS

-5 years progressive experience with logistics management & tracking

-Experience in manufacturing planning & scheduling

-Experience creating transportation management dashboards

-Experience in a manufacturing industry Experience with process documentation and process improvement

-Understanding of how to impact profitability through logistics management null
