Hillside Family of Agencies Food Service Driver in Rochester, New York
We have a tremendous opportunity for a Warehouse Driver to join Hillside! You will be responsible for driving a Hillside vehicle to deliver goods to client and non-client locations. You will also take scheduled inventory at the warehouse and other delivery locations to ensure all items are accounted for. This is a full-time (40 hours) Monday - Friday position, on an 8:30am - 5:00pm schedule.
Responsibilities:
Quick and accurate delivery of food and other goods to client and non-client locations
Deliver staff lunches
Maintain safe and responsible driving is required at all times
Conduct inventory at the warehouse and client and non-client locations
Communicate all needs and issues to management
Provide back up in other HSS areas
Deliver outstanding customer service
Clean interior of delivery vehicles and deliver equipment
Maintain warehouse to include tasks such as cleaning, stock rotation, organization and inventory maintenance, etc.
Check in and unpack deliveries.
Turn-in all paperwork in a timely manner
Pick up products from outside vendors for the kitchen and warehouse
Pick up and drop off catering goods
Provide support for the kitchen/purchasing
Provide support for Apprenticeship Program
Ability to sit, balance, bend/stoop, climb, crawl/crouch, push & pull, reach forward and/or down, reach overhead, twist, frequent walking, lift up to 80lbs with a two-person lift team and/or with the aid of cards, dollies, etc.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
A valid and unrestricted NYS driver’s license for at least 6 months and meet Hillside driving policy
Proficiency in math, reading and writing is a plus
$17.50 Minimum pay rate, $24.00 Maximum pay rate, based on experience.
