We have FULL TIME & PART TIME opportunities DAY shift (7:00 am-3:00 pm) + every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Please attach a CURRENT resume or include a complete text resume in the application form.

Pay: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour, dependent on years of C.N.A. experience. Generous extra pay for evening and weekend shifts.

The Shahbaz (CNA) is a member of a team in a small home that work together to create real home reflective of the elders who live there.

What is required to be successful on the job?

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· NYS Certified Nursing Assistant license required

· Relevant experience in food industry or cleaning preferred

· Proven ability in coordinating different responsibilities

· Basic computer knowledge preferred

· Desire and ability to interact with elders and care for their needs

· Willingness to embrace and exemplify St. John’s Brand Characteristics: Friendly, Respectful, Responsive; Compassionate, Innovative, Fun

· Commitment to successfully complete training and competencies for the Beyond Memory Program

· Ability to complete full orientation

. Compliance with NYS Department of Health immunization requirements.

Physical Requirements:

Sits, stands, walks most of the day. Frequent moving and lifting of residents. Moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Exposure to Conditions:

May be exposed to infection, odors, psycho-behavioral situations.
