University of Rochester Administrator I in Rochester, New York

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

  1. Works with SEO and ISO, creating and posting student employment opportunities in Job Link. Point person for hiring, interviewing and managing of student staff. Point person for maintaining and submitting payroll for Residential Life ESW, Trades and Management staff.

  2. Orders supplies for the department, maintains records of all expenditures, provides financial feed back for budget development. Reconciles on a monthly basis. Creates journals for errors and researches any questionable entries. Backs up other departmental Administrators and Secretaries.

  3. Verify and process monthly journal feeds from Graduate Properties Maintenance staff (RMI). Validate all entries with backup, contact RMI with any questions/adjustments. Process journals to Workday monthly.

  4. Coordinates the design and operation of various Facilities databases and operating systems. Will be responsible for entering asset information into Famis and eventually the new maintenance management system (Planon).

  5. Coordinates and organizes compliance records for all government regulation entities for River Campus.

  6. Coordinates activities for various special projects and the direction of Supervisor and Director

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduation from college or an equivalent combination of experience and training. 3 years of related work experience including at least 1 year in an administrative capacity in an academic office or project management, or the equivalent experience in business

Pay Range

Pay Range: $20.00 - $38.46 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
