University of Rochester Administrative Coordinator III in Rochester, New York

GENERAL PURPOSE:

With minimum direction and with considerable latitude for independent judgement, this position provides general support and assistance to the Admissions and Student Services staff at the Warner School of Education, while also independently managing and coordinating the Warner application process as well as other projects and events. Duties include database/spreadsheet management, coordination and execution of events, publications, mailing, and other activities and projects. Position will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the director and other professionals. This is a F/T 12 month position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Admissions support including managing the general admissions inbox, responding to inquiries, inputing prospect information into the Slate CRM and insuring that inquiries are routed to the appropriate admissions staff member.

  • Coordinate Admissions events and visits as well as manage registration for Grad Fairs and preparing representatives with materials.

  • Supports the admissions review process includes reviewing applications, contacting students regarding missing pieces and creating related spreadsheets. Manages the interview scheduling process for applicants. Creates spreadsheets for faculty committees, inputs admissions and financial aid decisions, generates admissions letters and creates and manages the mailing of yield packets.

  • Provides support and management to Student Services staff including but not limited to: continuously updating student records and programs of study, managing the request process for final transcripts, updating room requests in the EMS system, providing support to the registrar and graduation coordinator. Assists will all aspects of the Warner Commencement Ceremony

  • Provides administrative support primarily to the Director and on a limited basis to others in the Admissions and Student Services Office. Responsible for greeting in-person and telephone visitors to Admissions, answers general questions and triages to the appropriate staff member. Assists finance team with managing financial aid; provides regular audit of EIB for financial aid and Slate.

  • Completes special projects as required including, but not limited to: research, spreadsheets, models and Power Point presentations.

Other Duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree required.

  • Previous experience working with records required.

  • or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Ability to work independently and problem solve. Prefer experience with UR Student and Slate application system.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $18.10 - $25.35 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
