Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated Fork Truck Mechanics for projects located in the Roanoke, IN area . We're hiring for all shifts and the pay rate is $28.58/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Troubleshoot and diagnose causes of mechanical pneumatic or hydraulic system malfunctions or failures on fork truck equipment / lift equipment and execute the most feasible method of repair
Perform regular preventive maintenance on all machines equipment and systems
Proactive use of cmms to keep fleet operational and avoid breakdowns
Maintain parts inventory for lift truck fleet
Maintain the forklift repair area
Use hoists, wrenches, gauges, drills, grinders, other specialized auto mechanic tools, and equipment
Requirements
3+ years experience as a Fork Truck Mechanic
Prefer to be certified to repair one of the following: Clark Hyster Linde Toyota Crown or Cat fork truck
Working knowledge of both internal combustion, electric lifts as well as hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic testing equipment
