Parsons Corporation Senior Technical Manager - Infrastructure in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Technical Manager - Infrastructure to join our team!

In this role, you will join a professional engineering, construction, and cost management team that is involved in multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a real estate development of approximately 850,000 sqm of office space, 115,000 GLA of retail, 1,200 residential units, 5-star Hotels, and 600 hospitality keys. KAFD is set to be the main enabler of the KSA 2030 vision.

We are looking for a motivated individual with leadership skills and a passion for getting things done who wants to be part of setting the direction for continued success and growth in the department.

What You'll be Doing;

  • Play a key role in coordinating the project management with all teams throughout the project.

  • Develop and monitor project-specific execution plans to reconcile scope, budget, and schedule constraints and ensure project success.

  • Coordinate the overall technical design and construction of the projects with the different Consultants and Contractors appointed by the client.

  • Review each project's design and construction plans and related design and technical drawings to ensure compliance with the brand standards.

  • Acts as liaison between the project team and the client for all technical matters.

  • Oversight of the technical designs to ensure they conform to recognized codes and standards and with client requirements.

  • Oversight of the technical production standards for contract documents, drawings, and specifications within their discipline.

  • Ensure adherence to quality control processes, ultimately resulting in the highest quality deliverables for our clients.

  • Attract and retain premiere talent through recruiting, mentoring, training, and other employee development activities.

  • Coordinate with other discipline directors in the organization to provide consistent direction to the staff and instill a spirit of collaboration throughout the operation.

  • Leadership in developing advanced concepts, techniques, and standards and setting the technical direction for the department's design processes and procedures.

  • Provide positive leadership and team building to encourage employee engagement and maintain high morale.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is required.

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in building services related to electro-mechanical engineering is required.

  • Experience within infrastructure and buildings related projects

  • Experience in the management of large-scope projects or the management of a mechanical engineering design group.

  • GCC Experience within a PMC Setup or similar

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • A Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

  • A Professional Engineer license is preferred.
