Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Manager - Workers Village, Logistics to join our team! In this role you will be Senior responsibility for Parsons’s construction management for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIP). Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with delivery partners. Reports directly to the QIP PM/CM Director.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leads planning and delivery for construction management of the program and ensures operational consistency across the program.

  • Coordinate with other delivery partners, as well as QIC and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors.

  • Implement agreed strategies, through delivery of PMP’s and other key documents and approaches in accordance with program requirements and accepted best practice.

  • Lead the implementation and application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts, ensuring compliance and consistency across the delivery teams.

  • Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

  • Leads on unusually complex construction management challenges and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with functional leads.

  • Facilitates forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.

  • Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments.

  • Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required.

  • Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counselling, takes corrective action as necessary.

  • Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Degree Engineering (or equivalent) or related discipline with minimum 12 years’ experience in mega construction management projects, specifically strong construction management development and delivery experience across multi-disciplinary teams and functional teams, internal and external stakeholders.

  • Safety Qualification / Awareness Training.

  • Very strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

  • Infrastructure experience [Power Distribution]

  • Site Contractor Management

  • Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environmental & Quality Leadership

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity and reasonable experience utilizing industry standard tools such as Oracle Primavera, Tilos Scheduling, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.

  • Experience preparing and evaluating cost estimates.

  • Experience with alternate project delivery models (DB, DBB, CMA, CMR, etc)

  • Experience in large construction and engineering projects, specifically strong experience across multi-disciplinary teams and functional teams, internal and external stakeholders.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant construction management contracts and contracting in challenging multi-partner environments
