In 2023, Ankura expanded into Saudi Arabia, opening an office in Riyadh where we are now inviting Associates to join our team on a hybrid working basis. We are looking for confident, self-motivated individuals who can independently navigate a broad range of tasks, contributing to the growth of our Middle East team.

Our eDiscovery practice plays a vital role in investigations, litigation support, and business process improvements, specializing in data reduction and review optimisation for our clients. We design and implement strategies for keyword searches, content analytics, and predictive coding, enabling efficient data extraction and analysis using advanced technologies.

The team tackles complex issues involving diverse data sets from various sources, including social media and cloud storage, collaborating with experts in cybersecurity, digital forensics, and data analytics to provide comprehensive solutions. Ankura's eDiscovery team leverages cutting-edge technology to handle vast amounts of unstructured data. Utilizing sophisticated tools, they convert emails, documents, and other content into a searchable format, enhancing the ability of investigation teams to swiftly pinpoint key information in various cases.

Role OverviewYou will engage with project teams, aligning with clients' strategic objectives and resolving their complex issues. You will ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project outcomes and drive the development of efficient, cutting-edge workflow solutions.

Responsibilities: Your duties will encompass the following areas:

Project Consultation

  • Attend project scoping calls and assist in the drafting of detailed process plans.

  • Create and execute smart workflows for rapid key fact identification, case merit assessment, and data volume reduction.

  • Decode client needs and tailor solutions for intricate, unstructured data sets.

  • Manage client communications, setting clear expectations with all stakeholders.

  • Perform meticulous quality control to guarantee the precision of search results, review processes, and data handling.

  • Collaborate with and learn from team leads to progressively assume project responsibilities.

  • Handle daily interactions with clients, Ankura team members, and other engagement participants.

Innovation

  • Investigate and evaluate workflows and processes to optimise the way we provide solutions for our clients.

  • Forge novel solutions to data-centric challenges.

Self and Team Development:

  • Drive firm success through active involvement in content creation for pitches and internal trainings.

  • Uphold and exemplify a professional image both within and outside the company.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 undergraduate degree (equivalent to a GPA of 3.75) or higher.

  • Preference for degrees in analytical fields such as Digital Computer Forensics, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

  • A strong passion for data analysis and a commitment to learning the essential skills of a data consultant in a global organization.

  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.

  • Flexibility for international travel for various client engagements

Desired Experience

  • Previous consulting experience, ideally with Big 4 or specialized consulting firms, with a focus on client engagements.

  • Experience with the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and proficiency in eDiscovery platforms like Relativity, Reveal/Brainspace, Disco, Nuix, and similar tools.

  • Knowledge of forensic software such as EnCase, Cellebrite, Oxygen Forensics, and FTK.

  • Competence in database and programming languages such as SQL, Visual Basic, Python, and R.

  • Familiarity with email systems like Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and various email archiving solutions
