Robert Half is actively recruiting for a knowledgeable, accomplished Accounting Manager /Consultant for a privately held Restaurant and fast food company. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be performing monthly close activities, including account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and preparation of financial statements, prepare and post all journal entries. In addition, the consultant must have deep external audit experience in preparing audit schedules for a Big 4 CPA firm. This opportunity will be located onsite in Riverside, CA.

Skills:

-CPA / MBA preferred

-Quickbooks or similar ERP preferred

-External audit experience required

-Intermediate Excel skills required

-Excellent written/verbal communication skills required

-Must be able to work independently

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail

• Able to communicate at various levels within the organization

  Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting manager role or similar.

• Demonstrated proficiency in performing Month End Close.

• Proven experience in Financial Reporting.

• Adept at managing Balance Sheet Account.

• Experience in Annual External Audit is necessary.

• Proficiency in creating and managing Audit Schedules.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.

• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
