Southern Regional Medical Center is a non-profit, 331-bed full-service hospital serving the residents of Clayton County and southern crescent metro Atlanta communities. Responsibilities
TheDirector of Rehabilitation & Wellness Servicesis responsible for the overall operations & success of nursing, therapies, wellness and business services. The Director is responsible for developing and maintaining rehabilitation and wellness programs to meet the identified needs of the community. The Director is administratively responsible for the management of fiscal and personnel resources, performance improvement, information management, strategic planning, marketing, community education, physician/customer relations, regulatory compliance, and accreditation. The Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness oversees the rehab services and establish guidelines, workflows and metrics for the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy programs.
As you would expect, the Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness Services is responsible for the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy programs.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Master's Degree in a Medical Rehabilitation field preferred.
Five years of clinical practice with supervisory experience.
Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state.
BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current.
