Principal Associate Risk Specialist - Monitoring, Process and Governance | Retail Bank

The mission of the Retail Risk Office is to help enable the Retail Bank to deliver innovative products and services to our customers in a well-managed way. As a Principal Risk Specialist on the Monitoring, Process and Governance Team, you will be part of a highly motivated team responsible for delivering top-notch support to Retail Bank Risk Office associates by leveraging human-centered design principles to build innovative, non-traditional learning experiences that improve risk associate capabilities.

We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Specializes in workplace learning and demonstrates expertise in designing and implementing effective learning programs tailored to meet the needs of the Retail Bank Risk Office and various audience levels

  • Is naturally curious and possesses a proactive, self starting attitude towards learning and creative problem solving

  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, fosters positive connections with diverse individuals, and exhibits a non-judgmental attitude

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

Creative and Communicative - You are experienced in developing and editing digital learning content (bonus if you have Risk Management experience) using platforms such as Articulate Storyline/Captivate as well as creating slide decks, job aids and video content for use in virtual and in- person training as well as the Content Management System. You communicate complex ideas concisely and convincingly and are comfortable with presenting to all levels within the organization. You increase the effectiveness of learning solutions by identifying and recommending formats and modalities that create an optimal learning experience

Collaborative and Team-Oriented - You thrive in a collaborative space and are not afraid to seek insights from others. You bring energy to the group and rally to reach a common goal. Building and maintaining relationships is natural for you.

Curious and Analytical - You ask why, explore possibilities, and bring your unique perspective to the table. You collect and analyze data to identify trends and training opportunities that are grounded in evidence and are measurable. You are comfortable consulting with all levels of risk office partners to uncover learning needs and will recommend and execute targeted learning solutions.

Action-Oriented and Results-Driven - You are proactive with a desire to take action and try new things. You stay focused on your goals and deliver against milestones. You’re organized, able to juggle multiple initiatives and prioritize your work while keeping the customer at the forefront of everything you do.

Passionate and Customer-Focused - You are customer obsessed. You make it your business to understand their needs and their goals and are not satisfied with anything less than an exceptional customer experience.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

At least 2 years experience in Training Design and Facilitation

At least 1 year of experience with Articulate Storyline, Captivate or Camtasia

At least 1 year of experience utilizing Google Suite to create online or eLearning courseware

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

At least 2 years experience in Risk Management

3+ years of experience in Training Design and Development for digital modalities

2+ years of experience with curating and developing content to be consumed

2+ years of experience with multimedia photo and video editing software
